The UC96 backplane expands the capabilities of the UC96-SD microcontroller board - it accepts signal conditioning and conversion modules which interfaces directly with field sensors, transducers and actuators. The board requires only a single unregulated dc supply, 18-36Vdc and it generates all the dc voltages needed by the microcontroller board and modules. All dc or excitation voltages required by field sensors, transducers and actuators are also generated by the UC96 backplane or the modules. |
